About the Weekend

Summer in Santa Monica

A summer weekend of beach tennis on Santa Monica Beach, with the BTSM community on and off the courts.

For Every Level

Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced players all have a place in the weekend, alongside the official ITF BT50 professional division.

Bonus Pro Sunday

A bonus ITF BT10 on Sunday in Manhattan Beach extends the weekend for pros traveling in for the BT50.

Weekend Format

Friday · July 17

Mixed Day + BT50 Opening Rounds

Amateur mixed divisions for Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced.

BT50 pros play first round, round of 16, and quarterfinals.

Saturday · July 18

Men’s & Women’s Day + BT50 Finals

Amateur Beginner remains co-ed. Intermediate and Advanced are split into men’s and women’s doubles.

BT50 semis and finals close out Saturday.

Sunday · July 19

Bonus ITF BT10

A separate Sunday pro event in Manhattan Beach for players extending the weekend.

Pros register on IPIN and still pay on the BTSM website.

Amateur Divisions

Friday: Mixed Beginner (co-ed, no partner required), Mixed Intermediate, Mixed Advanced.

Saturday: Beginner stays co-ed. Intermediate and Advanced split into men’s and women’s doubles.

Pro Events

BT50 (Fri + Sat) and BT10 (Sun, Manhattan Beach) — $35 per person, per event.

Official registration on IPIN. Payment completed on the BTSM website.

Do beginners need a partner?
No. Beginner stays co-ed and does not require a partner on either day.

How do pro registrations work?
Pros register on IPIN and still pay on the BTSM website. BT50 and BT10 are separate $35 tournaments.

Can I play one day or both days?
Yes. Amateur players can choose Friday only, Saturday only, or both days.
