The Spirit of the Opener

The BTSM Season Opener marks the transition from winter preparation to match play — when rhythm comes back, days get longer, and competitive energy returns to the sand.

Sharper play, better energy, and real competition return. The season doesn’t start by accident — it starts with those who show up early.

Schedule

Friday — Feb 20

ITF PRO — 9:00 AM

ITF Consolation — after all 1st round matches are concluded

Mixed (All categories) — 1:00 PM

Saturday — Feb 21

ITF PRO semis — 9:00 AM (followed by finals)

ITF Consolation final — 9:00 AM

All amateur categories — 11:00 AM

Times are based on match flow and may adjust slightly on event day.

Registration rules

Mixed Doubles: teams must register in the highest level of either player.
ITF ranking: players with an ITF ranking lower than 1000 may register for Advanced.
ITF players: players who compete in ITF events may also play Mixed Doubles Advanced.

FAQ

Do I need a partner?
Beginner: no (coed). Intermediate & Advanced: partner required. Pro (BT50): partner required.

How do Mixed Doubles divisions work?
Mixed Doubles teams must register in the highest level of either player.
Players with an ITF ranking lower than 1000 may register for Advanced.
ITF players may also play Mixed Doubles Advanced.

What should I bring?
Water, sunscreen, layers for early/late, and your paddle.
